Details of Rory McIlroy and Erica Stoll’s prenuptial agreement have emerged as the couple prepare to go their separate ways after seven years of marriage.
McIlroy shocked fans by filing for divorce on the eve of last week’s PGA Championship, with reports claiming his marriage to Stoll has reached a “breaking point.”
The couple are said to have been living separate lives for the past two years as the golf star was away from home so frequently to attend tournaments, which has caused strain on their relationship.
As a result, the couple are now set to divorce after the explosive filing was made last week, leading to arguments over who will get certain assets.
McIlroy and Stoll signed a prenuptial agreement when they married in 2017, and reports suggest the former is entitled to keep his lavish $22 million Florida mansion thanks to that agreement.

It is believed the Northern Irishman will hand over the keys to Stoll as he looks for a new house to provide a stable home for his four-year-old daughter Poppy.
The divorce filing reportedly calls for joint custody and the establishment of a parenting plan for Poppy.
McIlroy purchased the house in Jupiter, Florida, within the guard-gated Bear’s Club golf community, from golf legend Ernie Els for a staggering $11 million in 2012. It is now believed to be worth twice as much.
The home resides on 2.4 acres of highly desirable land and is believed to have 10 bathrooms in addition to the nine bedrooms throughout the property.
The home was built in 2002 and was previously owned by former PGA star Els. The South African golfer is a former world number one, like McIlroy, and is a four-time major champion, like the Northern Irishman who bought him the incredible house.
The South Florida residence also features a luxurious infinity pool, as well as a game room, tennis court, home theater, recording studio and state-of-the-art fitness center. The 13,000-square-foot home also has a six-car garage.
McIlroy has earned approximately $87 million in earnings on the PGA Tour throughout his career, however, Stoll may not be entitled to half of his fortune despite signing the prenuptial agreement.
But it is believed he will hand over the keys to Stoll as he searches for a new platform.
