With Endrick being the most sought-after prodigy of his generation, it is perhaps unsurprising to learn that a number of Premier League clubs were looking for his signature before Real Madrid snapped him up, according to his agent.
The Brazilian teenager is part of the squad that traveled to England to face the Three Lions at Wembley on Saturday night, having already won two caps for the Selecao despite his youth.
After emerging as the latest in a long line of fiercely promising Brazilian strikers from Palmeiras, he was courted by several of Europe’s top clubs.
Real Madrid emerged victorious in that quest and paid some £51 million for his services, who will join Los Blancos this summer when he turns 18.
Yet Carlo Ancelotti’s side have faced competition from their Premier League rivals, and his agent has now revealed who is vying for the signature of the Brazilian youngster who is set to set the world on fire.
Endrick has become one of the most popular prodigies in the Montiagu tournament.

Young Federico Pena’s agent said The telegraph that scouts from all over Europe’s elite flocked to France two years ago to attend the Montaigu Tournament.
In a superb solo performance, Endrick scored five goals in four games to lead his team to a first trophy since 1984 in front of some of the world’s best scouts.
“That’s when the world really woke up and took notice,” Pena said.
“Football people already knew about him, but that’s when all the big clubs came in, Manchester City, Liverpool, Paris Saint-Germain, Chelsea and, of course, Real Madrid.”
Of the English trio, Chelsea are considered to have made the most concerted efforts to attract the services of the prodigy.
Endrick’s parents were invited to the Blues’ Cobham training base, where they met Brazilian-speaking Thiago Silva, Jorginho and captain Cesar Azpilicueta.
The Telegraph adds that the club has located a church the family could attend nearby.
Chelsea actually looked to be one of the leading candidates to secure his signature, before negotiations broke down due to the club’s reluctance to spend a significant amount of money on a player they would not get not even for two years.
Endrick was taken to Chelsea’s Cobham base where he met Thiago Silva and Jorginho.
Liverpool and Manchester City were the other two English teams interested in signing Endrick.
Real Madrid, meanwhile, already had experience in such deals, having of course negotiated similar terms to bring Vinicius Jnr to the Santiago Bernabeu.
As such, they were well placed to attack, and so they did, with Endrick now heading to the Spanish capital, where he is set to forge one of the most successful careers in recent years.
“I think Real decided that they would never lack other talents like Vini or Endrick after Neymar moved to Barcelona,” Pena said.
“Maybe there is a lesson for Chelsea because they were in front at the start.”
