Diaz spoke during a YouTube livestream of the Alofoke radio show moments after Tekashi was arrested while trying to leave the country and revealed that he assaulted them after she tried to stop him from hitting their daughter.

Tekashi’s attorney, Waldo Paulino, told a group of reporters outside the courtroom that Diaz was being dishonest after the judge called a recess to allow the defense to present additional evidence.
“The evidence presented against Tekashi is not valid as established by law,” said Paulino. “Wanda has told a lie against Daniel Hernandez.”
