Fred Sirieix’s daughter, Andrea Spendolini-Sirieix, won a bronze medal in the Olympic women’s synchronized 10-meter platform final in Paris on Wednesday morning.

The First Dates star is in the French capital to cheer on her daughter, and she delivered on the big stage alongside her partner Lois Toulson.

After two solid jumps to start the competition, Spendolini-Sirieix and Toulson faltered on their third jump and had to recover.

But after starting the final round in fourth place, they performed their best jump of the competition to overtake the Canadian pair and claim the final podium spot.

Sirieix was watching from the pool and punched the air in joy when the final result was announced.

Meanwhile, Spendolini-Sirieix and Toulson broke down in tears and hugged each other after keeping their cool to win a medal.

China took home the gold, while North Korea took home the silver.

Spendolini-Sirieix finished seventh in Tokyo in the women’s 10m platform final but has since won world, European and Commonwealth honours.

The 19-year-old now has an Olympic medal to add to her collection, and her famous father couldn’t be more proud.

Her diving partner, Toulson, is dating fellow British team diver Jack Laugher (gold medallist in Rio eight years ago) and was in the stands cheering on his girlfriend.

Laugher came down from the stands to give Toulson a kiss after his remarkable achievement.

He will be in action over the next few days as he looks to win his fourth Olympic medal, having claimed a gold, a silver and a bronze at the last two Games.

Spendolini-Sirieix and Toulson claimed Team GB’s third diving medal in Paris, following in the footsteps of Tom Daley and Noah Williams who won silver in the men’s 10m synchro final after Yasmin Harper and Scarlett Mew Jensen took bronze in the women’s 3m synchro final.
