A Sydney woman came forward to claim her $22 million lottery prize and told everyone at work the moment she found out.
She was the only division one winning entry nationwide in Powerball drawing 1479, held on Thursday, pocketing a whopping $22,207,849.80.
Lott officials contacted the working mother just moments after she checked her ticket.
“I can’t believe it. I saw that I had won and I thought it was only $11, then I looked down and realized I had won everything.
“I just got to work and couldn’t help but shout to everyone that I had won the $20 million.
‘One of the guys said, now you’re in the shout.
“I don’t know how I’ll be able to concentrate for the rest of the day. Luckily, I don’t have a very busy day.
“This means a lot to me. Buying a house and helping my family is my top priority, but I’d also love to travel a bit.”
The winning numbers were 32, 12, 4, 9, 10, 24 and 7. The Powerball number was 15.
The ticket was sold on The Lott app and not in a store. Pictured are workers at a Lotto kiosk
