The three upbeat hosts were reporting live from the Super Bowl parade, following the Kansas City Chiefs’ big win against the San Francisco 49ers on Sunday, before showing bizarre footage of crowds dispersing.

Confused, the trio of journalists realize, in real time, that they were in the middle of a serious situation, as frantic people in the crowd yelled at them to get down.

The reporter says, “We have… the crowd is dispersing.” One of the male hosts then joins in: “I think they’re trying to…um…”.

The third presenter nervously states, “It looks like they’re running.”

As they watch the crazed, frightened crowd in real time, the woman says, “We might have a situation here, we’re trying to keep an eye on it.”

They continue with the news, saying swaths of Chiefs fans seemed to be trying to disperse quickly.

One of the male presenters says: “It looks a little different than normal…

‘We’re not sure if they’re running toward their vehicles, or toward the shows, or if there’s some kind of disturbance. I can see people jumping the fence right now.

“I’m not sure where they’re going exactly.”

It was at that moment that on-air reporters suddenly heard people in the crowd below them yelling at them to duck and cover.

The journalist adds: ‘We don’t know if there is any security problem, it is very possible. Some people in the crowd tell us to duck.

He then politely tells his team at the news station to take over the broadcast so the trio of reporters on the scene can hide while the shooting situation escalates.

Authorities say at least one person has died. Up to 10 people are injured.

Two gunmen opened fire inside Union Station shortly after 3:30 p.m., seconds after the crew, including Travis Kelce and Patrick Mahomes, left the stage.

Police evacuated the train station as large crowds fled in panic after the shooting, and up to a million people were expected to have arrived in Kansas City for the parade.

The two gunmen were arrested, although their identities and motives remain unclear.

Reports indicate that several children were also shot and killed at the tragic celebration and were rushed to nearby Children’s Mercy Hospital.
