A driver of an allegedly stolen car and three passengers fled the scene after a terrifying hit-and-run crash between two vehicles.

The accident occurred on the Pacific Highway, near the Margaret Street exit in Brisbane’s CBD, on Monday night at 10:15 p.m.

A silver Toyota Kluger was hit from behind by a white Mazda 3 sedan.

The collision caused the sedan to roll over and land upside down.

The driver of the Mazda and the three passengers inside the vehicle allegedly fled the scene after the incident.

Shocking images from the crash scene showed the white Mazda lying face down on the side of the road near the exit ramp.

The vehicle sustained significant damage in the collision, with parts of the car’s front exterior shattered and its windows broken.

The driver of the Toyota Kluger, who was the only person inside the vehicle, suffered minor injuries as a result of the collision.

Emergency services arrived at the scene after the accident, but the driver of the Toyota Kluger refused to be taken to hospital.

The Mazda had previously been reported stolen from an Archibald Street address in Brisbane’s West End on February 4.

Queensland Police are investigating the incident and have urged anyone with dashcam or CCTV footage to come forward.
