- Football fans criticized the Dragons’ historic jersey
- Jack Bird wore a t-shirt with a misspelling
- Isn’t this the first shirt mistake this NRL season?
The St George Illawarra Dragons took it back from fans on social media after some eagle-eyed fans spotted a spelling mistake on Jack Bird’s jersey.
Bird wore a special 150th game milestone jersey for Sunday’s matchup against the Sharks, who were celebrating his 67th game for the club.
However, during an interview after the game, it emerged that the star center’s jersey suggested he played for the ‘Dargons’.
‘Jack Bird. 150th NRL game. Sharks vs. Dargons. Pointsbet Stadium. Sunday, May 5, 2024’, was printed on the jersey.

“That’s unacceptable,” another responded.
“Absolute joke,” a third posted.
