Netflix has canceled another fan-favorite show and viewers are once again threatening to boycott the streamer.
The streamer axed Rob Lowe’s workplace comedy Unstable after just two seasons, leading many to complain on social media.
In the series, Lowe, 60, stars alongside his son John Owen Lowe, 28.
The series takes place in a biological research company where a son with social problems is forced to work for his father’s company, a highly eccentric and exotic man, to save him from disaster.

This time, however, Rob’s character, Ellis Dragon, will have to fight for control of the company that comes from his own son, Jackson (played by John Owen).
The show premieres on Streamer on August 1 and co-stars Sian Clifford, Rachel Marsh, Emma Ferreira and Aaron Branch.
Fred Armisen will also return to his recurring role as Leslie, Ellis’ therapist, and Lamorne Morris and Iris Apatow will join the cast in the new season, playing another biotech founder and a new intern.
The cancellation sparked many complaints on social media, including some who even threatened to cancel their Netflix membership.
One X (formally Twitter) user wrote: “I think we should all boycott Netflix for a year, to be honest.” don’t subscribe, watch, tweet or post about anything they have going on or anything like that. Because continuing to cancel shows and leave entire actors and crews out of work so soon is predatory, to say the least.

As of September 8, the series had 3.34 million views in the US, according to THR.
The show also stars Aurora Perrineau, Misia Butler, Debi Mazar, David Thewlis, Janet McTeer and Leila Farzad.
The show was executive produced by Chris Fry, Charlie Covell, Jane Featherstone, Nina Lederman, Tanya Seghatchian, Georgi Banks-Davies and John Woodward.
