Mrs Hinch is best known for her cleaning tips and organizational tricks and discovered her passion for all things DIY through Alan.
As a child, she watched the New Yankees Workshop with her father and they both dreamed of owning a similar workshop.

Describing the workshop as “the most emotional part of the house”, Alan created his own workshop bench and stool and the couple set up a whiteboard to write down their upcoming projects.
Sophie ordered her father’s favorite tools for the workshop and shared her enthusiasm for recycling everything she could with her father.
She wrote: ‘Can’t wait for us to recycle and make things here together. Dad has worked so hard all his life to look after us all and I felt like I could finally give something back.’
