Two people have been charged following the brutal assault and attempted murder of the man in Mount Mee, an hour and a half drive northwest of Brisbane on Wednesday night.

Emergency services were called to a Mclean Road property at around 8.30pm following reports of an alleged assault.

A 23-year-old man from Eagle Farm was found with serious head injuries and is in a critical condition at the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital.

It is understood that the man was partially buried, he reported 9News.

The woman was accused of 10 crimes, including attempted murder, common assault, deprivation of liberty, incapacity to commit a serious crime, serious bodily injury, observations or recordings that violate the privacy of the genital or anal region, assault serious injury to a police officer, torture, wounds and illegal possession of weapons.

A 23-year-old local man was charged with nine crimes, including attempted murder, common assault, deprivation of liberty, incapacity to commit a serious crime, serious bodily injury, observations or recordings that violate the privacy of the genital or anal region, torture , injuries and illegal possession of weapons.

Both were due to appear at Caboolture Magistrates’ Court today.
