The FBI raided the home of a pastor whose wife died in a notorious suicide.
Bureau officials searched John Paul Miller’s Myrtle Beach home on Friday, six months after he announced his wife Mica’s suicide in a bizarre sermon.
The agents said WBTW are “conducting court-authorized law enforcement activities” at the luxury property, but declined to comment further.
Neighbors said they were told officers were there to execute a search warrant, and Miller was not believed to be home when authorities arrived.

In the final disturbing images, Mica Miller was seen on surveillance footage at a remote gas station just before she was found dead in a lake at Lumber River State Park on April 27.
Several trucks were photographed outside Miller’s home as the raid began, with officers wearing uniforms that read “Evidence Response Team.”
They could be seen putting on gloves and bringing bags from one of the trucks as they prepared to enter the house.
Mica was shot and killed at Lumber River State Park in Robeson County, South Carolina, in April.
Disturbing surveillance footage showed her buying a gun at a pawn shop shortly before her death and then driving to the remote area where she ended her life.
There is no suggestion that Miller was directly involved in his wife’s death.
But accusations of abuse and infidelity began to emerge shortly after he announced Mica’s death at Market Common Church.

Mica’s sister Sierra also filed legal documents accusing Miller and Solid Rock of “colluding” to “defraud and deprive” the 30-year-old of her fair share of property after she “sold” her home to the church. .
Public documents obtained by DailyMail.com show that Solid Rock Ministries was granted tax-exempt status in 2015, according to IRS filings.
Miller’s home address in Horry County is now owned by Solid Rock Ministries; He sold it to her in December 2023, two months after Mica initially filed for divorce and asked that the property be divided equally between them.
Sierra’s attorney filings accuse Miller of selling the property for $169,331.31, which they say is “significantly less” than the actual value of the property.
Records seen by DailyMail.com show the property’s taxable value is $240,000, about $70,000 more than Miller sold it for.
