Married At First Sight girlfriend Tori Adams finally admitted she couldn’t “support” her husband Jack Dunkley after stoically supporting him through weeks of drama.
Jack, 34, has been repeatedly criticized on dating show Channel Nine for his shocking comments, including telling Jono McCullough to “gag” his wife Lauren Dunn in a “sexist” comment.
Tori, 27, has repeatedly supported her husband amid the controversy, but was left shocked when more explosive claims came to light in Tuesday’s tense episode.
Sara Mesa first told Tori that Jack had been “flirty” with her, had “smacked her butt” and kissed her on the cheek, but Tori later insisted that she did not believe the claims.
However, in another hurdle for the couple, Timothy Smith shared that Jack had made a “body shaming” comment about “whales” while sunbathing with Lucinda Light and Tristan Black.
Married At First Sight girlfriend Tori Adams finally admitted she couldn’t “support” her husband Jack Dunkley after stoically supporting him through weeks of drama.
In an explosive argument, Timothy revealed: “Yesterday when we were at the pool you had the audacity to come in and say, ‘Oh, what are the whales here today?'”
It turned out to be the last straw for Tori, who insisted she couldn’t support Jack while criticizing the comment as “malicious” and “unacceptable.”
In the middle of the argument, Tori told Jack to “stop” defending himself before storming off, while her partner followed her and continued to argue against the claims and win her over.
He insisted there was no “malice” behind his comment, as he said it was just a “joke” and a “joke”, before claiming the other couples were simply trying to attack him.
But Tori told the camera: “I’ve always said that Jack is not a malicious person, but that comment is completely malicious.” I never really felt deep disappointment in him, but I thought, “It’s so unacceptable.”
Jack stated: “I’ve got a target on my back, they’ve gone and conspired, the guys who are having relationship problems with their girls, and that’s why they’re obviously doing it.”
Jack, 34, has been repeatedly criticized on dating show Channel Nine for his shocking comments, including telling Jono McCullough to “gag” his wife Lauren Dunn.
But Tori argued, “It doesn’t matter who took it, it makes you look like a fucking idiot.”
Jack insisted that he didn’t care what anyone thought because he was only on the show for Tori, and then said that all he could do was apologize and move on.
“There are only so many times you can say sorry before the word sorry doesn’t stick,” Tori told the camera as she seemed taken aback by Jack’s comments.
‘We’re here with these people, none of them are like you, and the list is growing. It’s quite exhausting having all these things come out, I feel like an idiot, because I support him constantly.’
Jack said he didn’t have to support him just because they’re married, prompting Tori to respond, “I can’t support that Jack.” I can’t support that.’
It remains to be seen whether the couple will overcome the hurdle, after Jack has been accused of “sexism” and confronted by experts over his shocking comments in recent weeks.
The latest spat also follows Sunday’s commitment ceremony, when he admitted he felt Tori was more “into” him, before she warned him not to waste his time on the experiment.
In Tuesday’s tense scenes, Timothy accused personal trainer Jack of “body shaming” for making a comment about “whales” when he saw some of his co-stars sunbathing at the Byron Bay retreat.
Tori, 27, has repeatedly supported her husband amid the controversy, but was left shocked when more explosive claims came to light in Tuesday’s tense episode.
Angry at the group, Timothy revealed, “You’re an idiot person and the reason you’re an idiot person, and I didn’t want to say it, but when we were at the pool yesterday, you had the chance.” audacity to walk in and say “oh, what are the whales here today?”
Jack insisted: ‘It’s a bloody joke!’ but Sara was furious: ‘That’s not a joke! A whale hints at blubber!’
Jack defended himself to the group, saying: “I would never directly call anyone a whale, these are cheap shots, there are jokes everywhere.”
Jack admitted he had made the comment, but insisted it had been taken out of context, adding, “Honestly, I think he was probably saying it was Ridge.”
However, Timothy argued: ‘Ridge wasn’t there, that’s deflection again!’ since Ridge didn’t come to his aid either.
Timothy was left absolutely furious that the comment had been made within earshot of his close friend Tristan Black, who has been open about his struggles with body image.
Reacting to the cruel comment, Tristan told the camera: ‘Do you know how shitty it is to be the only guy who has body insecurities?
“It’s comments like that that piss me off, I hate swimming pools, I hate taking my shirt off and you shake it off saying ‘look at all the whales here’.”
Sara Mesa (pictured) first told Tori that Jack had been “flirty” with her, had “smacked her butt” and kissed her on the cheek, but Tori later insisted she didn’t believe the claims .
Jack again insisted that “it was all joking,” but Lauren Dunn said that he shouldn’t joke about certain things.
Jack then told him: ‘Shut up!’ Lauren reacted with exasperation following her controversial ‘muzzle’ comment directed at her just days earlier.
Tori said, ‘Jack, Jack, stop! In fact, I can’t sit here much longer,” before walking away from the burning row.
Earlier in the episode, Jack had also been accused of being “flirty” with Sara Mesa, and the girlfriend and Lauren brought this to Tori’s attention.
Sara accused Jack of “smacking” her bottom and kissing her neck as she claimed his actions had left her uncomfortable.
Sara said: “Maybe it’s in my head, but Jack has been very flirtatious with me, and there was a comment in the gym about him telling Tim ‘you have the sexiest wife on the show.’
“After that comment was made, we were in the hallway and Tim and I were going to the spa and he said hello to Tim and Tim walked in front of me, and as I walked away, he lightly slapped my butt.
However, Timothy Smith later shared that Jack had made a “body-shaming” comment about “whales” while sunbathing with Lucinda Light and Tristan Black, leaving Tori fuming.
“Then the second thing was, when we were at dinner and he came to apologize to you and me, he kissed my neck.”
“Those things happened that made me feel a certain way, and the only reason I bring it up now is because of all the other things that happened,” he added.
Tori was left upset after learning of the comments and quickly confronted Jack, who insisted that Sara’s claims were completely “ridiculous.”
He said: ‘I don’t want to comment on that. That’s so ridiculous,’ but Tori pushed him away saying, ‘I need something a little more than that.’
Jack insisted: ‘I can’t stand Sara, you know I can’t stand Sara. She’s not my person at all.
Clarifying his comments, he continued: “I think I said she’s the most striking, she would stand out more like a red Ferrari.” This is so out of context that she is looking for some leverage.
Tori was then heard breaking down in tears behind closed doors as she said the constant drama and controversy was “exhausting” her.
Jack argued: ‘You’ve heard my side and I think you know that the shit Sara says is bullshit. I have never had a conversation with Sara and much less have I had bad intentions towards her.
It turned out to be the last straw for Tori, who insisted she couldn’t support Jack while criticizing the comment as “malicious” and “unacceptable.”
“You’re lucky I’m strong and thick-skinned or you’d be screwed,” Tori admitted as she continued to support her husband.
I don’t think what the girls told me last night is true. “I know how Jack feels about Sara, I’d be very surprised if there’s any truth to that,” Tori added to the camera.
“Lauren and Sara are betting this thing will blow up and not work, but I know what I’m doing.”
She insisted that she would continue to “stick” to Jack, but just hours later, the “body shaming” comment seemed to be the last straw for the girlfriend.
