Married At First Sight star Jade Pywell alarmed fans on Friday by revealing she had been hospitalised while undergoing surgery.
The influencer, 26, and her MAFS husband Ridge Barredo, 27, shared a gallery of stunning photos on Instagram that captured Jade in a gown at a local hospital.
One photo showed Jade looking tired as she lay in a hospital bed shortly after surgery, and another captured her flashing the peace sign at the camera as she prepared for the procedure.
Ridge captioned the snapshot with some reassuring words: “She’s alive.”
Meanwhile, Jade shared a clip showing Ridge being a doting boyfriend by delivering her food shortly after the surgery was completed.
While it’s not known what procedure Jade underwent, Ridge cheekily asked his followers to “guess the surgery,” suggesting it was nothing life-threatening.

In an exclusive chat with Daily Mail Australia, the couple, who recently celebrated their first anniversary, revealed plans to start a family.
When asked about his sex life, Ridge was quick to evade the topic.
“She’s not pregnant yet, though, which is a little annoying,” he joked.
When asked if the idea of having children together was something they had discussed, Ridge explained that Jade wanted to get married before having a child.
“She said yes to the next person I’m going to marry or get engaged to,” he revealed.
Daily Mail Australia revealed in May that Ridge had quit his job as a psychiatric nurse in New South Wales and moved in with his TV girlfriend.
Days later, the MAFS intruder boyfriend took to Instagram to officially share the news with his 111,000 followers as he posted a sweet video of himself and Jade.
