A man has been charged for allegedly stabbing his mother and brother in Sydney’s inner west.

Paramedics were called to Sydenham Road in Marrickville just before 6pm where they found the two family members with stab wounds near Marrickville High School.

Jackyy Dang, 22, was arrested at the scene and taken to Newtown police station.

His 25-year-old brother was allegedly found with stab wounds to the neck, face, head and back, while his 55-year-old mother had allegedly been stabbed in the throat.

Yang has been charged with two counts of causing serious bodily injury/harm to a person with intent to murder.

The brother was seen with blood coming from his head as he was taken to an ambulance.

He is now fighting for his life at the Royal Prince Alfred Hospital, where the mother is in serious condition.
