Marilyn Manson is appealing the dismissal of his defamation lawsuit against his ex-fiancée Evan Rachel Wood, alleging she forged an FBI letter as part of a scheme to falsely accuse him of sexual assault.

In March 2022, Manson sued Wood for the “malicious falsity” of the abuse allegations she made against him and alleged that the actress “derailed his successful music, television and film career” by accusing him and allegedly encouraging others to do the same.

Wood, 36, who dated Manson, 55, from 2006 to 2011, accused the musician of sexual abuse and misconduct in 2021. Manson has denied all allegations.

In new legal documents obtained by TMZ Manson has argued that his lawsuit against the actress should never have been dismissed and claims he has evidence that she and his on-again, off-again partner Illma Gore forged an FBI letter accusing the rocker of being under investigation for sexually abusing women.

Manson claims that by including the allegedly forged letter in his file, Wood only submitted a statement that she herself had not forged the letter and did not deny that it was a forgery.

He also claims Wood’spread falsehoods about him, requested information from his former employees, fabricated fictitious emails and attacked him at his home to spread his claims.

Manson claims thatThe trial judge in the case “failed to take into consideration” that one of his accusers retracted her abuse allegations and said she felt pressured by Wood to lie about Manson.

DailyMail.com has contacted representatives for Evan Rachel Wood and Marilyn Manson for comment.

Manson’s original suit accused Wood and Gore, whose real name is Ashley Gore, of impersonating a FBI agent to distribute a forged letter to ‘create the false appearance’ that Manson’s alleged victims and their families were in danger.

The artist also claimed that Wood and Gore created a fake email address to make it appear that Manson was sending her “illicit pornography” and that the pair orchestrated a swatting incident at her Los Angeles home last month.

The complaint also stated that Wood — who accused Manson of sexual abuse and assault — and Gore provided checklists and scripts listing specific acts of abuse for potential accusers to claim against Manson, including that he filmed the sexual assault of a minor.

Wood has previously said that Manson “brainwashed and manipulated me into submission” and that he “began manipulating me when I was a teenager and horribly abused me for years.” She also claimed that the musician “forced her to engage in a commercial sex act under false promises” and “basically raped her on camera.”

Manson’s lawsuit claimed that Wood, with Gore’s help, fabricated her allegations against Manson in an effort to “provide more fabricated content” for Phoenix Rising, which both women worked on.

Wood and Gore were accused of recruiting, coordinating and pressuring women to make false accusations against Manson.

In addition to alleging that the women provided Manson’s accusers with pre-packaged responses and a “list of 21 fabricated acts of abuse,” the complaint also claims that Gore contacted potential accusers by phone, text, email and/or social media with the following message:

Manson also accused the couple of distributing fictitious letters “attributed to a real-life federal agent and including a forged signature and fake phone number for that agent” warning his accusers that they were in danger.

The complaint says the FBI agent named in the letter confirmed that he did not author or approve the note and claimed he had no knowledge of its existence.

Manson’s lawyer says a text message exchange between Gore and Wood, using the nickname Alabama, confirms they wrote the letter together.

She also alleged that Wood presented the forged letter in a custody proceeding in California as purported evidence of why she should be able to move her son, Jack Matfin Bell, to Tennessee.

Wood has testified that Manson threatened to “fuck” Bell, something he denied.

Manson first learned of the alleged accounts and emails in November 2021.

The complaint also accused Gore of hacking into Manson’s computer, phone and email account, obtaining his passwords and Social Security number.

The artist is accused of using information she obtained as part of her alleged hacking scheme to “orchestrate and promulgate false accusations against Warner.”

Manson also claims that Gore staged a sexual abuse incident against him on February 3, 2021 by sending police to investigate him under false pretenses. This occurred shortly after Wood came forward with her abuse allegations.

On that date, Los Angeles police were notified by the FBI that Gore, identifying herself as a friend of Manson, had expressed concern for the musician’s safety after she had reportedly been unable to communicate with him.

Police responded to the alleged “emergency,” and when Manson did not answer the door, additional officers were called to the scene, the lawsuit alleges, noting that an LAPD helicopter hovered over his home and shined a spotlight into his windows.

Officers reportedly returned to the property several times before entering the residence and “determining there was no evidence of any problems.”

“(Gore’s) report was false. (Manson) was at home with his wife and a guest and was in no danger. Gore knew her report was false; she and Warner had never even met. She has never been ‘friends’ with Warner and had no basis to believe that Warner posed any risk to himself,” the complaint states.

The rock star has also accused Gore of defamation.

In 2018, Wood appeared before Congress in support of nationwide implementation of the Sexual Assault Victims’ Bill of Rights, and testified about past sexual abuse she had suffered, without mentioning Manson at the time. She later publicly identified him as her alleged abuser.

The Westworld star was linked to Manson from 2006 to 2011. In the first installment of Phoenix Rising, which premiered at the Sundance Film Festival in January 2023, she said the Beautiful People artist had raped her in 2007 during the filming of his Heart-Shaped Glasses music video.

Wood also said she was “scared” to expose Manson’s alleged crimes and that it had taken her “a long time” to stop blaming herself for what had happened.

King issued a statement denying Wood’s allegations about the filming of the video.

Manson emerged as a music star in the mid-1990s, known as much for generating public controversy as for hit songs such as The Beautiful People and successful albums such as 1996’s Antichrist Superstar and 1998’s Mechanical Animals.

Several women have sued Manson in recent years over sexual and other abuse allegations. Most of them have been dismissed or settled, including a suit filed by Game of Thrones actress Esmé Bianco.
