A young Australian woman whose photo in a nightclub went viral for her natural beauty has landed her dream job.

Ryli Johnson, a 20-year-old Murri woman from Moree in north-west New South Wales, has been dubbed “the most beautiful girl in the world” after a photo of her and her boyfriend Tyreice Baira was posted online.

She had travelled with her boyfriend and friends to Townsville in Far North Queensland for a weekend getaway and was enjoying a night out at The Bank Nightclub when a photographer snapped a photo of the couple.

Although Ms Johnson said she did not like the photo very much, it was shared on the club’s Facebook page and was soon filled with comments praising its beauty.

Countless internet users declared she should become a model and her fame spread when Daily Mail Australia spoke to Johnson in March.

Since then, her newfound fame has only grown and she has landed her dream job as a customer service agent at Qantas.

The 20-year-old shared a selfie on her Instagram Story last week, dressed in her Qantas uniform and captioned: “first shift.”

Ms Johnson previously told Daily Mail Australia that the recruitment process was “really exciting” and she did not expect to progress.

“Qantas is very good. I didn’t expect anything from it because it was a mainstream role and not a First Nations or Indigenous role,” Johnson said.

‘I went to their assessment centre and did a group interview and I was very intimidated because there were older people who had more experience in the tourism industry.’

“I had never worked in tourism and I had never been near airplanes… I traveled abroad for the first time literally last year in July.”

Ms. Johnson said she returned home after the interview and told her mother she could have done better.

To her surprise, Qantas told her she had successfully moved on to the next stage of recruitment.

“I was crying. I thought, ‘Oh my God, this is such an accomplishment.’ I was so proud of myself,” Johnson said.

‘I didn’t think I would be given a chance because the older people had been working with Virgin and other places.

“I thought I was just a black girl from Moree and I wasn’t expecting this at all. It was overwhelming.”

“I’ve always wanted to make a difference in my community because there’s so much violence, everyone is under the influence of drugs and alcohol and the crime rate is just ridiculous,” he explained.

“First Nations girls were sending me messages saying ‘you are a beautiful girl, you continue to pave the way for us’ and that really touched my soul,” Johnson said.

‘I’m a very proud First Nations woman and I just want to represent my culture and show people that it doesn’t matter what skin tone you have.
