Lucas “Prince” Bahdi looked set to lose the first fight of his career on Saturday night.

Yet that’s how, in the sixth round of the fight at the Amalie Arena in Tampa, Florida, Bahdi somehow managed to achieve what could easily be considered the best knockout of the year.

Bahdi, having lost almost every minute of the fight up to that point, landed two quick jabs and a perfect left hook to completely stun Ashton Sylve, who fell straight to the middle of the canvas. That sparked a massive celebration in the ring. Just watch:

Sylve was on the ground for quite some time as medical staff attended to him, leading to a brief scary scene inside the arena. Eventually, Sylve was able to move to a stool in the ring before congratulating Bahdi and exiting the ring under his own power. The loss was the first of Sylve’s career. He entered the night with a perfect record of 11-0 with 9 KOs.

Bahdi now has a record of 17-0 and all but two of his wins have come by knockout. The most recent was a TKO win over Jose Luis Rodriguez last month in Canada.

Their 10-round lightweight battle came before Jake Paul’s bout with Mike Perry, which was scheduled to replace Paul’s postponed fight with Mike Tyson. That fight was postponed to November at AT&T Stadium in Arlington after Tyson, 58, suffered a health scare on a flight earlier this year.
