A popular range of frozen toddler meals has been recalled after black rubber was discovered in one batch.
Food Standards Australia on Monday recalled Patties Food Group’s Little Meals Beef Cottage Pie 200g after the presence of foreign matter was detected.
The FSA recommended that “consumers should not eat this product” as it “may cause illness or injury if consumed.”

The affected lot had an expiration date of February 15, 2026.
The meals were sold across Australia at Woolworths, Coles and independent retailers including IGA.
Customers can return the product to the place of purchase for a full refund.
“Any consumer concerned about their health should seek medical advice,” the FSA said.
