Laura Anderson has revealed she felt ‘attacked’ when her ex Gary Lucy announced their split while she was pregnant.
The Love Island star, 35, and the EastEnders actor, 42, who share nine-month-old daughter Bonnie, first met on Celebs Go Dating in 2022.
Laura has now revealed she feels she was robbed of the pregnancy she had envisioned because Gary made their split public without informing her.
Talking to Zoe Hardman and Georgia Dayton at Made by Moms: The Podcast, She said: ‘Technically, Gary and I were planning to have Bonnie and we were really excited and thrilled, and it was around Christmas. I knew straight away and I got tested.
‘I was so excited to become a mother, I feel like I’m going to cry if I talk about this, but the personal stuff with her father, I always imagined having my partner there and it being all about being pregnant, but I didn’t have that.’

Laura continued: ‘We broke up for a reason. He made it public without telling me that he was going to tell everyone we weren’t together on the same day we were going to announce I was pregnant.
‘Even though we weren’t technically together, I was hoping we would work it out, but as soon as he made it public, it felt like an attack and like we weren’t going to work this out, now it’s public and he did it the day we were going to announce I was pregnant.
‘So what should have been a magical moment and behind the scenes could have been a bit difficult, then turned into a media circus of negativity.
‘I was bullied for the way we broke up. I never said anything negative because I was vulnerable and wanted our relationship to work and I was scared to say anything.’
Laura went on to reveal that trolls targeted her for being “desperate” to have a baby because she had previously spoken about doing IVF while she was with her ex Dane Bowers.
She continued: ‘[Trolls were saying]’you must be really desperate to have kids’, and then as I met Gary and we had a child quickly, this narrative emerged.
“She was planned. I felt like I had failed, even before I started. She wasn’t even here yet, and I felt like I hadn’t given her that basic right.
‘I don’t think it’s my fault that we’re not together either.
‘I think, looking back, the ideal thing would have been to get married first and do the normal thing. It was probably rushed, but we fell in love and it was all very romantic.’

The reality star said she felt like she was left in the dark after he publicly announced the split without telling her as she hoped they would work it out.
This comes after Laura claimed Gary hadn’t seen their baby daughter Bonnie in almost six months.
The reality TV star took to Instagram to respond to a troll and claimed she hadn’t seen her daughter since early January.
In response to a troll who asked if Bonnie ever sees her father, Laura replied: “You mean has her dad seen her…?”
“No, he hasn’t since January 2nd, if you’d like to direct those questions to him as I have no control over the actions of others x.”
A representative for Gary declined to comment when contacted by MailOnline.
Laura previously detailed the challenges she faced raising Bonnie as a single mother after she and Gary split up before she was born.
She told The Mirror: “I think I struggled to accept it at first, it wasn’t what I expected. But in the end, that’s how it turned out for me. Of course, I’m going to make it work for my son, even more so. I feel like I’m a pretty good mum, to be honest.”
Offering advice to other parents facing the same challenges, she added: “Prioritise what you need to do, it’s just me. I have to make it work. I’m tired, but of course I’m going to get tired. I’m raising a human soul, that’s what I’ve agreed to.”
‘(Bonnie) is great, your social life takes a bit of a backseat, but most people, your good friends, understand that.’
This comes after Laura claimed Gary hadn’t seen their baby daughter Bonnie in almost six months, while responding to a troll on Instagram.
