Josh Hall took to Instagram on Friday to make his first public statement amid his divorce from Christina Hall.
The 43-year-old property developer, who denies turning down a seven-figure deal from Hall, 41, shared a selfie resting his head on his dog in a solemn post.
She wrote in the caption: “I prefer privacy, especially during something so life-changing like a divorce I didn’t ask for.”
Without naming Christina, she promised: “I won’t speak ill of anyone in public, because every person has family, friends and other people who respect and love them. Unfortunately, the Internet is forever.”
In an interview with her 92,300 followers, Hall continued: “We are real human beings, this is our lives and I am not here to entertain people I don’t know with my private business. Those details will be handled fairly behind closed doors with our respective attorneys in due time. Those who know each of us, know who we are.”

After Josh shared a message about “hope” on his Instagram Stories, Christina took a screenshot of the image and added her response.
“I HOPE” he pays me millions more than he has already offered me,” she wrote in an aggressive attack on her ex.
Christina and Josh filed for divorce. Christina listed their separation date as July 7, while Josh filed on July 8.
In an Instagram post from March, Josh wrote that he and Christina are “still going strong…”
Weeks after back-to-back divorce filings, Christina accused her ex-husband of transferring $35,000 of her money into his bank account.
According to legal documents obtained by ET, the HGTV personality claimed, “Josh was able to divert over $35,000 of rental income from my separate property into his account.”
She went on to say in court documents: ‘I am asking Josh to account for the funds taken and return them to me as those funds are specifically used to pay loans, obligations, property taxes, insurance, and maintenance of these rental properties.’
Christina was previously married to Tarek El Moussa and they share a daughter, Taylor, 13, and a son, Brayden, eight.
She was briefly married to Ant Anstead and they share a four-year-old son, Hudson.
