Late-night television host Jimmy Kimmel this week criticized Donald Trump for his “blatant hypocrisy” after claiming that a product sold by the Republican presidential candidate was manufactured in China.

During his show’s monologue Wednesday night, Kimmel, 56, informed viewers that even though Trump, 78, criticizes China all the time, the Bibles he sells to his followers for nearly 60 Dollars are actually produced in East Asia.

“You’ll think I made this up,” Kimmel began. ‘But do you know that Trump likes to complain that China is taking our jobs and destroying us when it comes to trade, and that he’s going to slap tariffs and more tariffs on them so we can buy American goods? Well, guess where those God Bless the USA Bibles you’ve been selling are made?

The comedian continued: ‘Think about it. That’s right, in China! Trump is charging $59.99 for Chinese Bibles that say “God Bless America,” it’s unbelievable. The audacity, the blatant hypocrisy… I know it shouldn’t be shocking anymore (but) somehow it still is.’

Kimmel then added: “And Mr. America has a ton of Trump products that were made in China.” I’ll introduce them to you tomorrow night. We went on a little excursion and picked up a few things.

Last month it emerged that Trump had launched a new sale of branded watches in the final weeks of his presidential campaign.

The businessman, who has also sold gold sneakers and NFTs in this election campaign, announced “my new Trump watches” on Truth Social on September 25.

The ‘Trump Victory Tourbillon’ watch he is selling has 200 grams of gold and ‘more than 100 real diamonds’, with a price tag to match: it sells for $100,000 each. It’s unclear if this is one of the other products Kimmel was referring to.

The TV star’s comments come just weeks after The View host Ana Navarro mocked Trump’s wife, Melania, 54, in a scathing social media post after the former First Lady will promote a $600 gold vermeil necklace that is available for purchase on her personal website.

A description of the jewelry piece reads: “Vote Freedom is a limited edition gold vermeil necklace celebrating Lady Liberty with the option of a digital collectible.” Ana was quick to mock Donald Trump’s wife.

On Instagram, Ana, 52, posted a video promoting the necklace and captioned it: ‘Oh my god. Like really. Oh my god. Add a $600 necklace to the $90 Christmas ornaments, memory book, and shitty NFTs. Oh, and the $250,000 to talk to gay Republicans.

‘Basically the only time Melania shows her face is to get money out of poor fools. Seriously, how can people supposedly so rich be so greedy? What are you going to sell next…nipple rings? Ana continued.

‘This woman should be the First Lady of Home Shopping Network. #clingy. Meanwhile, Doug Emhoff is working for free because he loves his wife and his country. Imagine that!’ he added, referring to Vice President Kamala Harris’ husband.

Ana’s 797,000 followers were quick to comment on the post, with one person saying: ‘Ana you never fail to make me laugh! Keep keeping it real!’

Another joked: “This is their BE BEST, BE TACKY initiative,” while a third Instagram user claimed: “How cheap is that?” Just by looking at it, it looks like it came out of one of those claw machines.

Someone else commented: ‘You’ve got to be kidding me! I am sad for those who fall into this vulgarity,” while another person added: “Everything about them is just absurd…”

When Melania promoted the jewelery on her own Instagram page, the damning comments continued as one person wrote: ‘OMG she’s scamming to cash in before she’s no longer relevant to ANYONE.’ This is ridiculously funny.’

Another person accused: “Melanie is getting into the scam,” and a third added: “Dang.” You are also a scammer. “Now we see the attraction.”

Someone else scoffed: ‘These things look cheaper by the minute. How horrible,’ and another person wrote: ‘This is embarrassing.’
