Jeopardy! viewers were left furious after Monday night’s episode was pulled from the air just minutes before the finale to make way for a special report on Donald Trump’s appearance at the Republican National Convention in Milwaukee.
ABC dramatically cut the game show short to cover the former president’s first public appearance since an assassination attempt on Saturday night, meaning fans didn’t get to see contestants Brenna Sniatecki, James Hayakawa and Isaac Hirsch face off on Final Jeopardy.
The move sparked an uproar, with viewers launching a barrage of profanity-laced complaints against the broadcaster on social media.
Some were so angry that they accused the broadcaster of being an example of “far-left media mob mentality.”
