Known for his on-set pranks, Jared Leto has outdone himself this April Fool’s Day.
On the April 1 episode of Wheel Of Fortune, the Academy Award winner, 52, pulled a prank on the contestants when he inexplicably replaced host Pat Sajak in the first spin.
“Ladies and gentlemen, here are the stars of our show: Jared Leto and Vanna White,” the host said as the pair exited to applause from the live studio audience.
Leto wore an oversized black suit with a paisley tie while accompanying White, 67, who paired it with a sleek black jumpsuit.
They thanked the audience before Leto told White to “have a great show” and took his place at Sajak’s podium.

But it didn’t last long as Sajak, 77, returned to his podium after the first spin.
‘Alright everyone, grab those devices. It’s time to give away some money,’ Leto told the contestants.
The game show shared a clip of the intro on instagram. ‘Did you notice anything different about tonight’s show?!’ they wrote in the title.
At least one contestant was very happy to see the Morbius star leave, but hopefully it didn’t throw him off his game.

The television personality announced in June 2023 that the current 41st season of the show will be his last, as he plans to retire this year.
Shortly after, Ryan Seacrest was announced as the game show host’s successor.
Leto is a longtime fan of the game show and appeared with his brother Shannon Leto in November to announce Thirty Seconds to Mars’ upcoming Seasons Tour.
The actor’s Wheel of Fortune prank was considerably calmer than his past on-set pranks.

The actor’s Wheel of Fortune prank was considerably tamer than the gifts from his Suicide Squad set, which included adult magazines, a live rat, and a dead pig.
After appearing in 2016’s Suicide Squad, his co-stars revealed that Leto became the Joker by sending them some disturbing gifts.
Among the gifts were adult magazines, a live rat and a dead pig, but Leto denied reports that he sent used condoms to his co-stars.
