Isabella Blount, 24, had a list of rules before her fiance Max went on his bachelor party - but has divided opinions online

A bride-to-be has divided opinion after she made a list of ‘rules’ for her partner’s stag do.

Isabella Blount, 24, from Leicestershire, is due to marry in Las Vegas in 2026 – but has already made a list of demands before her fiance Max parties the night away on his stag do.

Izzy, who works in marketing, and Max got engaged while on vacation at DisneyWorld last September.

Taking to her TikTok account @isabellab212Izzy listed seven rules she wants her partner to follow at his bachelor party, including ‘no strippers’ and a ban on going to certain places, such as Amsterdam.

She also wants Max to ‘video/photograph everything’ and bring her back a present, explaining: ‘I’m not saying it’s going to make up for anything, but I like presents’.

She also wanted regular communication to ensure he was safe, adding that he should not hang out with members of the opposite sex, saying: ‘Girls are a no’.

Her video has now gone viral, racking up 1.8 million views – but people have been divided over whether her rules are too ‘controlling’ or whether she’s just asking for basic respect from her partner.

Some people backed her requests with one saying: ‘Honestly, you’re so real for this’, while another noted: ‘Hen/hens should be seen as a celebration of you getting married, not a final one” free” night on the town’.

But others were more dubious, with one commenter sharing their own experience, writing: ‘My fiance’s stag does this weekend and no rule. I just want him to enjoy his weekend because I trust him.’

One person took issue with Izzy’s request for a gift, asking: ‘Bring back a gift from a stag like what exactly? Hangover and the smell of regret?’

Another social media user said: ‘If a guy did this, it’s controlling and oppressive’, while another said: ‘If you don’t trust anyone that much, is marriage really the best option?’

Izzy now insists her claim was a ‘joke’ and posted her updated rules, which still included no strippers, no communication and getting a gift back.

She told wedding planning website Hitched: ‘These ‘rules’ as I called them on TikTok are things we discussed when we were planning our bachelorette party and hen dos.

‘Not all of these are my actual views and the word ‘rules’ was meant as a joke (he’s not a kid!) I’d say they’re more like the boundaries of things I’m uncomfortable with him doing.

‘The actual thing I’ve said to my fiancé is ‘no strippers’, to me that’s disrespectful and I think a LOT of women agreed with the comments (of the video).

‘The other big thing is communication. My fiance and I live together and talk everyday, so it would be unnatural not to talk even if we are apart. And mainly because we just want to make sure that each other is safe and well!

‘My fiance knew about the TikTok before it went public as we both thought it was obviously a joke… So we’re just laughing together at the comments now. The gift thing was supposed to be fun too, but I wouldn’t mind!’

Isabella says her fiance ‘totally agrees and respects these things’ and says that’s why they work so well together as a couple.

The “communication” rule” works both ways. He wanted to know that I’m safe too.

‘He needn’t worry about that stripper, because he knows the thought of it makes me sick. So you won’t find me at Magic Mike!’

She added that she didn’t expect the video to blow up the way it did: ‘I usually make silly TikToks for my friends to see so I was shocked!

‘I think it has revealed a huge topic of conversation and girls have said they argue with their fiancés about the same things! One even said they broke up with their partner after discussing strippers!’
