Influencer twin sisters have shocked the internet after revealing that they share a bra and all their underwear between the two of them.
Brigette and Danielle Pheloung, 27, are New York-based influencers with hundreds of thousands of followers and widely known for their fitness, fashion and lifestyle content.
They discussed what it was like growing up as twins and shared some of their dirty secrets on a recent episode of the Gals on the Go Podcast.
“I’m actually embarrassed to say this,” one of the twins said into the microphone. “We only have one bra… and we share underwear.”
Brigette and Danielle Pheloung, 27, are New York-based social media influencers widely known for their fitness, fashion, and lifestyle content.
They appeared on a recent episode of the Gals On The Go podcast and revealed that they share a bra and all their underwear between the two of them.
“We only have one bra because we don’t wear bras, but every time we need it, we think about waiting… and we fight about it,” they added.
The confession was followed by raised eyebrows and laughter from the hosts.
They were then asked which lucky twin had the bra that day, to which they responded that they both do, as they own a black and nude bra that they both share.
But due to the difficulty of wearing a black bra without it showing in certain outfits, they ‘basically’ have only one bra.
“I feel like that’s so specific that listeners are going to be like, ‘You guys are fucking weird,'” they added.
The podcast delved into many aspects of the twins’ lives, including the projects they envision for themselves in the future.
The Internet wasted no time in sharing its opinions on their very close bond; many acted disgusted.
But the internet wasn’t prepared for how close and intimate the two really were.
‘My twin and I don’t even hug each other let alone share underwear. No. Straight to jail,’ said one user.
Another said: ‘I’m a twin and no. I understand but I never could.’
“Underwear is wild because what,” a third person said.
“My twin and I would fight every day if we did this,” said a fourth user.
But others defended the sisters, pointing out that it really wasn’t that strange. Many even related to his sharing habit.
‘The same DNA!!! hahaha,’ said one user.
“This is double coded,” said another.
‘Oh my God…we do this too. Wow. All twins are the same,” chimed in a third user.
Even though the Internet criticized the couple for the objectionable habit, the twins seemed to play along and make fun of themselves.
On Friday they published a TikTok where they allude to the fact that they separated after living together their entire lives.
In the video, they can be seen fighting over the naked bra, apparently playing tug-of-war with the straps, and arguing while lip-syncing to viral audio of an angry Abby Lee Miller yelling “get your finger out of my face!” .
“How they expected us to act the moment we decided we were moving away from each other,” the post read.
It was also accompanied by the title ‘If ykyk’ (if you know, you know).
Their fans may have been a little grossed out by the admission, but the twins’ social media success shows no signs of going away anytime soon.
Together, they have 725,000 followers on Instagram and are consistent with their content on other platforms, including TikTok and YouTube.
The twins posted a fun TikTok on Friday in which they were apparently playing tug of war with their bra and arguing over who would take it when they moved.
