A professional makeup artist has revealed her favorite lipstick for those with smaller lips – and it comes all the way from France.
The helpful tip was shared in a recent TikTok video post by Mallory Ossesan American makeup artist who works in Australia and Bali who has amassed over 100,000 followers on the social media platform.
Osses the video clip started explaining that she thinks she has “no definition” around her lips and found that the lipstick she discovered really helped her and could also “change her life.”

Osses showed off what her lips looked like before applying lipstick, which she said gives her lips natural definition.
Osses began the video by showing viewers how to apply the lipstick, which she first applied to the outer corners of her lips.
It’s a trick he uses to make them look fuller.
She applied the lipstick to one side of her lips and left the other bare, to show off the surprising difference side by side.
“Look at that, look at that little bit of definition that makes my lips look full, but natural,” she said.
The makeup artist finished applying the lipstick, giving her lips nice definition and a light pink shine.
“It makes my lips look full, but naturally,” she shared. “It doesn’t look like an excessive line, it doesn’t look like he’s wearing anything.”
“This is perfect for someone like me who has small lips and I don’t like to draw attention to my lips,” Osses continued.
The content creator even admitted that she never wears red lipstick.
Violette FR’s $29 Bisou Balm, which is advertised as a combination between a ‘sheer matte lipstick’ and a hydrating lip balm, is what Osses recommended to her thin-lipped views.
The makeup artist finished applying the lipstick, giving her lips nice definition and a light pink shine.
“They just look like your lips,” praised Violette lipstick.
One of his favorite things about the product was its lasting power.
“And as it wears off throughout the day, it doesn’t look like you’ve gone from having lips and lining them to going back to your natural lips,” Osses explained.
“A subtle definition makes a difference.”
And many of her viewers seemed to agree: In the comments section of her clip, some admitted how drastic the difference seemed.
