In the season 25 finale of Law & Order: SVU, Ice-T’s character receives a gunshot wound during a dangerous confrontation with an armed child.

Now the rapper has revealed how he found out his character would be shot once again.

Talking with PeopleThe actor, 66, revealed that his co-stars alerted him to the scene before he could finish reading the script.

‘I was reading the pages. She didn’t know. So I’m here in the script and everyone’s like, “They’re going to shoot you!” I say that?” That could be BAD,’ she recounted.

His character, Fin, fortunately survived. “I lived it,” she added.

It’s not the first time Fin has been shot on the series: his character was also injured in season six.

The star of the hit series previously shared his concern about the possibility of him being killed.

During a recent interview with his co-star Mariska Hargitay, he admitted that he was eager to see if his character would survive season 25.

“So when I get the script, I just look at it to make sure I don’t get shot and bleed out. But I don’t know the arc of the season,” she said. Entertainment Weekly.

“He just wants to make sure he doesn’t die,” Mariska chimed in, laughing.

‘I want to make sure I don’t die. I got shot in this episode (in season 6) and as soon as I read it, I was like, Mariska. (Ice-T pretends to frantically flip through an imaginary script in front of him, all the way to the end.)’ Ice-T described.

‘I was like… “Oh wow… I’m alive!” So we just didn’t know how the deck would be shuffled at this point. Mariska is already out there, she doesn’t have a partner. Who is going to be her partner? she added.
