Sharon has now swapped film sets for art studios and told the newspaper she can spend up to 17 hours a day behind her easel working on paintings.
The movie star’s painting venture was a success and he is currently exhibiting in Berlin and selling his paintings for up to $40,000 (31,520.40).
However, that doesn’t mean she wouldn’t dip her toe back into the acting pond if the right role came to her door.
When asked if she was done with acting for good, Sharon replied: “I’m not saying that. Working as an actress, I really loved it. If someone offers me a important role, I will accept it. But that is not happening.
“What happens in the industry is once you become a big seller, they want to put you in small projects, so you start funding people who want to start their careers. Great, but that’s not really where I’m at. I want to work with the masters because I have earned my place there.
Sharon’s career has been hit by several setbacks, including a stroke she suffered following a brain hemorrhage in 2001.
She has also spoken about her struggles with misogyny in the industry, most recently revealing that she was pressured into having sex with her Silver co-lead William Baldwin by Hollywood producer Robert Evans.

The performers starred in the erotic thriller Silver, originally released in 1993.
Sharon opened up about the film’s difficult production in her 2021 memoir, The Beauty of Living Twice, in which she alleged that a producer told her to sleep with a co-star.
She then appeared on an episode of the Louis Theroux podcast released earlier this month, during which she claimed that former Paramount executive Evans encouraged her to have sex with William.
Silver’s screenwriter, Joe Eszterhas, claimed that the dynamic between William and his co-star was difficult in his 2000 book, American Rhapsody.
The writer claimed via the New York Post that Sharon described the actor as “a boy” and that she would let her brother Alec “throw me over a table at any time.”
Eszterhas went on to allege that the Oscar-nominated actress was openly hostile to her co-star while they were working on the film.
He claimed: “She would wipe her mouth after kissing him or rinse it with mouthwash. She bit his tongue during a kiss.
She has also spoken out about her struggles with misogyny in the industry, most recently revealing that she was pressured to have sex with her Silver co-lead William Baldwin by Hollywood producer Robert Evans (stock du Silver movie).
Sharon denied these claims during a 2021 interview with the New Yorker, where she described her castmate as “so sweet and young and naive” at the time of Silver’s production.
William then addressed the controversy that resurfaced in a lengthy post shared on his X account last week, during which he accused the actress of harboring a personal grudge for more than three decades.
He wrote: “Does she still have a crush on me or is she still hurt after all these years because I avoided her advances? She told her friend Janice Dickinson the day after my drug test… “I’m going to make him fall in love with me so hard it’s going to make his head spin.” ???’
The performer went on to write that he had remained silent on what he expressed as particularly sinister stories about Stone’s past behavior.
“I wonder if I should write a book and tell the many disturbing, perverse and unprofessional stories about Sharon? This could be fun.
