A shopper has revealed how to create a capsule wardrobe for under $150 using pieces from Kmart Australia.
Claudia Curacfrom Jervis Bay, New South Wales, was surprised she was able to create 11 different outfits by reusing seven staple pieces from the budget retailer.
The mother of four told FEMAIL she spent just $147 after shopping at the store on September 1.
She bought: a $38 linen-blend blazer, $25 wide-leg ankle-length pants, $15 linen-blend pull-on pants, a $12 luxe sleeveless open-back blouse, $22 low strappy kitten heels, a $10 white loose short-sleeved boyfriend tee, and a $25 sleeveless V-neck mini dress.
The 27-year-old said the neutral pieces are “absolutely to die for” and are great for mixing and matching.
“I love repeating clothes, I’m not one to go shopping very often, I found these pieces and thought they were very cute basic garments,” Claudia said in a video that has now gone viral. video.

First, she paired the soft and “buttery” Luxe Open Back Tank Top with the “cute” ankle-length wide leg pants and black kitten heels.

Claudia said the look is comfortable to wear to work or school. The blue blouse is also her favorite piece of the whole outfit.
“It’s very flattering and the fabric is incredibly soft. The value for money is incredible,” she told FEMAIL.
To add another style, she layered a lightweight linen blazer over it.
She then swapped the long pants for the brown shorts for two more looks and then put on the white t-shirt.
Lastly, she tried the sleeveless V-neck mini dress and paired it with the blazer, then realized that the dress is thin enough to be tucked into pants as another option.

Claudia then swapped the pants for a pair of fitted linen-blend shorts (left) and wore the low kitten heels (right).
Lastly, she tried on the sleeveless V-neck mini dress (left) and paired it with the blazer. She also bought a white T-shirt (right).
Claudia showed that you don’t need to spend a fortune to buy new clothes.
She said she loves how Kmart pieces are “so affordable but still trendy and easy to get.”
Her video has since been viewed more than 21,000 times, with many applauding her for sharing the idea.
