A Louisiana boy offered money to a man he thought was a homeless man on the street who turned out to be a multimillionaire.
On Good Friday, Baton Rouge resident Matt woke up to the sound of a fire alarm and ran out of his apartment, dressed in whatever he could find in his room.
While waiting for the commotion to subside, Matt went to grab coffee across the street to start the day.
After drinking his coffee, Matt decided to wait outside and set aside time for morning prayer. He chose a corner of the patio, closed his eyes, crossed his arms and began to meditate.
At that moment, a young man named Kelvin saw Matt standing in the corner and assumed he was homeless.

Kelvin told the local news station. WBRZ He always wanted to help a homeless person, so he approached Matt and offered him some money.
“I said, ‘Excuse me sir, are you homeless? Because if so, here’s a dollar,” Kelvin said.
Matt responded emotionally: ‘No, I’m not really a homeless man. I actually live across the street in this apartment.
“I was confused, I didn’t really know what to do. He won’t take the dollar though. I’m not mad about that,” Kelvin said.
To repay the act of kindness, Matt offered to treat Kelvin and his father to breakfast. Kelvin said he bought a cookie, a fried egg and some cheese, while his dad had coffee.
At that moment, a young man named Kelvin saw Matt standing on a corner, assumed he was homeless, and offered him a dollar, all the money he had in his pocket. In fact, Matt was no slob and offered to treat Kelvin and his dad to breakfast.
Back at the coffee table, Kelvin and Matt talked about everything from sports to first loves and heartbreak, since Kelvin had recently broken up with his girlfriend.

Matt lent him more than a couple of dollars. He brought Kelvin a ton of products from his store and offered him 40 seconds of unlimited shopping.
