Police body camera footage has revealed the heartbreaking moment an officer discovered the body of a missing two-year-old boy in Las Vegas.

The shocking clip showed the moment a city sheriff’s deputy looked inside the nearly empty dumpster and found the deceased child.

The video begins with officers arriving at the dumpster as one of them shines a flashlight inside.

He then curses uncontrollably and takes a deep breath as his partner runs to the trash can and looks inside.

“Call the Metro,” the officer tells his partner.

Other surveillance footage showed Diaja pushing a stroller just before calling 911 later that day.

The clip shows the mother pushing two children in a stroller while holding another in a baby carrier on her chest.

She walks quickly with three children in a parking lot before crossing the street as another camera captures her walking toward a dumpster that is out of frame. Police believe Jacoby was already dead in the stroller.

Police believe Diaja dumped her son's body in the trash bin shortly after 8 p.m. that day, according to the documents. She has since confessed that he was dead before he was dumped in the trash.

Hours earlier, around 12:44 p.m., search history showed someone had searched Jacoby Sr.’s phone for “how to perform CPR,” according to the documents.

Further searching revealed that someone used the phone to make a call and searched for bus tickets from Las Vegas to Los Angeles.

In her 911 call, the mother said, “I can’t think right now. I don’t understand. I don’t understand what happened.”

Diaja later told police that her deceased son had died in the stroller, but denied hitting her children. She said Jacoby Jr. had suffered a seizure earlier that day, according to police.

‘(Censored), Why didn’t I listen to you when you told me to stop booing the kids? I really hope you can forgive me. Deep down, I really love you. I cherished every moment you had with me. I wish I could have prepared one last meal for us. I’m sorry I didn’t think it through.’

The couple has five children. The two oldest are no longer in their custody, according to family members.

Diaja regained custody of Jacoby Jr. and two younger siblings in April, records show.

The Clark County Department of Family Services made three previous contacts with the family, records show.

The cause of the boy’s death has not yet been released. DailyMail.com has contacted the Clark County Coroner’s Office.

As of Thursday, both Diaja and Jacoby Sr. remain in jail without bail. They are expected to appear in court on Aug. 8.
