Guy Sebastian has come under fire online this week for complaining that he is “tired” of the hard work it takes to be a successful musician these days.
The singer-songwriter, 42, who rose to fame after winning the first season of Australian Idol in 2003, received backlash on TikTok when he expressed his exhaustion.
While some fans jumped to the billionaire’s defense, others were quick to criticize the artist for feeling burned out by the hustle and bustle of the industry.
It all started when Guy commented, “I’m so tired” under a video posted by singer Amy Shark while talking about the social media content she has to post.
He jokingly told his followers not to become musicians before listing all the clips he has to upload to stay relevant, a sentiment Guy claimed to relate to.
