Former OANN journalist Caitlin Sinclair claims she was kicked out of Zero Bond for her conservative views

A glamorous former conservative journalist has claimed she was exiled from one of New York City’s most exclusive clubs because of her views after making a controversial post about Father’s Day.

Caitlin Sinclair, a one-time OANN reporter, said she was “heartbroken” Wednesday when Zero Bond membership manager and longtime friend Duncan Menaker told her she would no longer be welcome.

“They literally said, ‘We’ll kick you out because of your politics,'” he said. he told the New York Post.

That shocking announcement came just days after Sinclair posted a photo on Instagram showing her holding a sign that read, “You’re here because your dad isn’t gay.”

Sinclair, 28, said Menaker originally sent him an email on Wednesday asking him to “refrain from using the club” after seeing the Father’s Day post.

But later that day, Sinclair said, he called her to tell her that her $3,850 annual membership had been canceled.

“Many of your beliefs don’t align with Zero Bond,” Menaker allegedly told him.

“He said I offended his members,” Sinclair said. ‘Did you know? Its members offend me.

“There are members who hate Trump enormously,” he said while defending his controversial post.

“I was simply stating a fact: we cannot be born without a man and a woman,” he said.

‘I’m not saying I don’t support LGBTQ+. I have trans and gay friends; “I never said anything offensive,” she claimed, noting that she is friends with Caitlyn Jenner.

Her dismissal came days after she posted a photo of her holding a sign for Father's Day that read:

Sinclair says he is now considering suing the NoHo establishment, claiming it was “100 percent discrimination.”

‘Why are other Zero Bond members allowed to attend pro-Hamas rallies, speak to drag queens, and celebrate when Trump is convicted, but that’s not against Zero Bond policies?’ he asked later, noting that “many of the members there hate Trump and stood in front of the courthouse.”

It’s unclear which members Sinclair was talking about, but the lavish club has attracted celebrities including Taylor Swift, Jared Leto, Megan Fox and Machine Gun Kelly, and is a frequent hangout for New York City Mayor Eric Adams.

Many of the clubgoers were his friends, Sinclair said.

“They are excluding me from my community,” he said, claiming that many of the club-goers were his friends.

“I paid the money to go to a safe place.”

“If I went to the club with a MAGA hat or with that sign (of the controversial post) it’s different,” he continued.

“But I never brought my politics to the club; that was my personal account that I posted on.”

However, before taking any legal action, Sinclair begged the club’s founder, Scott Sartiano, to take her back, saying she wanted him to join her to “help me pave the way to show our fellow New Yorkers and Americans That there is nothing”. “There doesn’t have to be a big divide.”

But a club source says Sinclair is exaggerating how upset she is about the sending off and has accused her of trying to stir up controversy to get attention.

“She’s obviously doing this to try to become famous,” the unnamed source told the Post.

‘She came into Zero Bond, so they clearly knew exactly who she was and what her political affiliation was, as she says it very publicly.

“There are a lot of Republican members, so Zero Bond is clearly not anti-conservative, and for her to make this a political issue instead of admitting how disgusting her homophobic comment was is a disgrace,” the source added.

Sinclair also admitted that Sartiano once told him that his beliefs were welcome at the club, telling him: “We need diversity at the club, so we’re glad you’re here.”

Still, club leaders say they have no plans to let her return.

“We stand by our decision to revoke Caitlin’s membership as a result of her public, homophobic Instagram post and not because of her political affiliation,” they said in a statement to the Post.

‘It has also come to our attention that Ms Sinclair is attempting to exploit our club’s esteemed reputation for personal gain. Apart from this, her unfounded claims do not merit any further comment.’
