Mescal takes on his most significant role to date in this epic historical blockbuster, a blood-and-gore-filled sequel to Scott’s award-winning 2000 triumph, Gladiator.
With Russell Crow’s legendary Maximus long dead and buried, it is Lucius, the grandson of Rome’s former Emperor Marcus Aurelius and son of Lucilla, who must fight for his freedom after being taken as a slave.
Lucius, a former heir to the Roman Empire, is taken as a slave by Marcus Acacius (Peter Pascal) and his marauding army of armored troops.
