A gunman filmed himself opening fire in a supermarket after searching the store for “someone good” and failing to reach him.
Richard Klaff, 20, livestreamed the shooting on Facebook as he prepared and carried out the attack on a Kroger store in Fort Wayne, Indiana.
He began around 6:15 p.m. Thursday by lighting a cigarette in an upstairs bathroom at the Georgetown Kroger, stating, “I’m going to shoot 11 people… look.”
He cocked the gun several times before walking down the stairs and wandering around the supermarket looking for the right target.
‘Which one am I going to choose? Let me find someone good real quick, I’m not going to kill any old people,” she said.

Klaff was charged with three counts of attempted murder and one count of criminal recklessness with a deadly weapon and booked into the Allen County Jail.
Klaff bragged about walking through a supermarket with a gun and pointing it at the camera in one of the aisles.
“I’m going out strong…baby watch,” he said.
Klaff eventually saw a black woman at what appeared to be a deli or bakery counter and marked her for death.
“Oh yeah, I see one, I see one,” he said, and then he fired six bullets at him, all of which missed and no one was hurt.
Klaff’s chosen target raised fears that the shooting was racially motivated, but it was unclear if that was the case or if she was the first black shopper he had seen.

The gunman fled the store after shooting as the video ended. He was arrested at another nearby store shortly after the shooting.

Klaff’s latest post on Facebook, where her profile is called ‘Justa Badperson’, says ‘this s**t doesn’t stop black people from being h*es.’
Another disturbing post showed him wearing a hoodie while holding an assault rifle, although it was unclear if it was a real firearm.
“We are deeply saddened by the incident that occurred at our E State Boulevard store in Fort Wayne,” Kroger said.
‘We are cooperating with the local authorities’ investigation and have initiated advisory services for our associates. Plans to reopen the store will be announced later.

Police stood guard outside the store Friday after it was closed.
A sign on the door said Kroger would be closed Friday.
“For now, to protect the integrity of the ongoing investigation, we refer questions to the Fort Wayne Police Department.”
United Food and Commercial Workers Local 700 President Tracy Bartak said employees would receive counseling.
‘Our hearts go out to our entire Kroger family who were affected by tonight’s shooting. Store 425 will be closed the rest of the night and tomorrow,” she said.
“Starting Friday, mental health counselors will be available free of charge to anyone who needs them, both in person at the store and by phone or FaceTime.”
