Real Housewives of Beverly Hills alum Kim Richards reportedly suffered a relapse and was placed in a psychiatric confinement.

After allegedly falling off the wagon, a spokesperson for the Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) confirmed to People that the reality star, 60, and her sister, Kyle Richards, 55, were involved in an altercation earlier this week.

On Wednesday, an “incident” occurred between the brothers in Encino, where Kyle “owns a house that Kim had recently stayed at.”

LAPD officers reportedly “responded to keep the peace after a woman reportedly violated a restraining order.”

After an investigation, officers “determined that there was no warrant on file and that no crime had been committed.”

“Both parties were informed of the eviction process and agents kept the peace,” officials told the outlet.

Officials, however, were unable to verify whether it was Kim and Kyle who were involved “in the fight.”

DailyMail.com has reached out to representatives for Kim and Kyle but has not received a response at this time.

Earlier this month, TMZ reported that Kim was placed on 5150 psychiatric hold and taken to a hospital by ambulance for her “incoherent” behavior.

At the time, he was reportedly staying at a Hilton hotel in Los Angeles.

According to NAMI Sonoma County (National Alliance on Mental Illness), “under California law, certain designated professionals may place a person on psychiatric hold for 72 hours.”

During a 5150, a person is detained and held for up to 72 hours for evaluation.

During this time, ‘the center or hospital is obliged to carry out an evaluation of that person, taking into account their medical, psychological, educational, social, financial and legal situation.’

According to TMZ, law enforcement sources said Kyle claimed Kim was “in serious trouble with her sobriety” and that her entire family was “worried about her survival.”

Kim’s struggle with sobriety was documented during her time on Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.

In the first season of their reality show, which aired in 2010, Kyle accused Kim of being an alcoholic during a tense exchange.

A year later, he entered rehab.

In April 2015, Kim was arrested for public intoxication at the Beverly Hills Hotel. That same year, he went to a treatment center in Malibu.

In 2016, she recalled her addiction problems that began after separating from her second husband, Gregg Davis, in 1991.

“I started to notice that I was drinking a lot,” he recalled. “That’s when my problem started.”
