A self-proclaimed ‘Forever Democrat’ who was forced to flee her Aurora apartment building by the Tren de Aragua gang has revealed she will now vote Republican.
Cindy Romero and her husband moved out of the Edge Lory Apartments for safety reasons after their security cameras filmed men armed with long guns in the complex and attempting to enter the units.
“I’m going to vote against the Republicans,” Romero said. Fox News Digital.
‘And I will do it every year until someone does something about it. “I don’t want my children to be the next victims of this.”
The Romeros had an elaborate locking system that ran from the top of the door to the bottom, and they acquired it when they saw the Denver suburb becoming less safe.

Cindy and Edward Romero moved out of the apartment for safety reasons after filming a gang shootout in late August.
After a shooting at the apartment complex earlier this month, the Romeros’ car was riddled with bullets.
“Gang activity forced me out of my apartment, people carrying guns in the hallway and patrolling the grounds with firearms,” Romero said.
Romero shared her story during Donald Trump’s appearance in Colorado and said the media didn’t take her at face value or do their research and left her stranded.
In the images taken by the Romeros’ cameras, heavily armed men are seen breaking into the block brandishing their weapons.
At the end of the video, the door opens and the apparent gang members enter the apartment. It was unclear if anyone inside the home was injured.
Romero was one of the guests when Trump spoke to a crowd of thousands of MAGA faithful in Aurora, Colorado, where he announced a new illegal immigrant operation named after the city.
‘Operation Aurora’ will target the Aragua Train. Trump delivered the new political goal while standing next to blown-up photos of several of the gang members detained by the Aurora Police Department.
Trump said Friday that Operation Aurora would act as a gang member elimination program by invoking the Alien Enemies Act of 1798 “to target and dismantle all illegal immigrant criminal networks operating on American soil.”
However, it is currently unclear how the plan would differ from current policies that allow the United States to expel violent criminals.
Aurora rose to fame in August when images of the Romeros appeared on the Internet. Trump has widely claimed that Venezuelan gangs are taking over buildings.

DailyMail.com obtained city records where employees admitted that three rental properties “have complete control” of the Tren de Aragua (TdA) and claim that many more than just three properties are victims of the “criminal infestation.”
“As of now, the Aurora multifamily properties are under complete gang control,” the June 29 police report states.
The gangsters told the manager of the three properties (Aspen Grove Apartments, Edge of Lowry and Whispering Pines) not to return or his life would be in danger.
Gang members were also known to be armed with deadly weapons, including assault rifles and knives.
A law firm report detailed the chaos at the apartments, including beatings that left victims nearly dead, shootings, drug sales and even child prostitution.
