A man from Queens, New York, set a new world record by drinking an entire gallon of lemonade in a short amount of time at the annual Nathan’s Hot Dog Eating Contest on Independence Day.

Eric ‘Badlands’ Booker managed to finish an entire jug of the sour citrus juice in just 21 seconds to easily win the contest.

This year he claimed his fourth consecutive title at the event.

He celebrated with a loud roar into the microphone after emerging victorious.

Booker, 55, is best known for his online presence on YouTube as ‘BadlandsChugs’, a channel that features videos of him drinking soda.

She won the inaugural lemonade drinking challenge in 2021 and has been able to defend her title every year since.

In 2023, Booker set a world record by drinking a gallon of lemonade in just 23.08 seconds.

His win this year came just minutes before Patrick Bertoletti went on to win the hot dog-eating contest, downing 58 glizzies in just 10 minutes.

Geoffrey Epster, another contestant, finished second with 53, while Bertoletti’s rival, James Webb, scored 52.

Booker, who drinks soda on YouTube, was awarded a belt for his victory, as fighters do after a fight.

Bertoletti was competing for the ninth time.

The totals paled in comparison to the record 76 hot dogs and buns Chestnut ate in 2021.

In the women’s competition, reigning champion Miki Sudo ate 51 hot dogs and buns to break the record for that competition. Mayoi Ebihara finished second with 37.
