A brawl broke out between England and Germany fans tonight after the home country was eliminated from Euro 2024.

One witness said: ‘English fans were mocking the Germans for their defeat by Spain and then started singing songs like ‘Have you ever seen the Germans win a war?’

‘There were about 20 English men who confronted a group of Germans and then a couple of them got into a fistfight.’
