Ellen DeGeneres appeared in Montecito on Friday with her wife Portia de Rossi, a week after announcing she would be “done” with showbiz once her Netflix special premieres.
The 66-year-old comedian is in the midst of her Ellen’s Last Stand… Up farewell tour, the final shows of which will be filmed for the streaming service.
Her last tour was in 2018, four years before her daytime talk show ended amid a firestorm of accusations about her “toxic” work environment.
This week he returned home to California between concerts to soak up the sun with Portia, whom he has been with for 20 years.
Portia and Ellen were seen joining their friends at an outdoor table at a local deli, enjoying some shade under umbrellas.

Ellen was enjoying her last day off between shows: She played two dates in Dallas last weekend and will take the stage Saturday at The Masonic in San Francisco.
On stage in Santa Rosa this month, she spoke about her exit from the spotlight and joked that next time she will be cancelled for being “old, gay and bad,” according to Gate of Saint Francis.
When asked if he might return to fame at some point in the future, he firmly ruled out that possibility.
“This is the last time you’ll see me. After my Netflix special, I’m done,” Ellen said of her upcoming hour-long show, which will be taped this fall.

Earlier this week, Ellen decided not to address her fans before quietly canceling four scheduled shows in Dallas, San Francisco, Seattle and Chicago on her 32-date comeback tour.
The comedian’s cancellations came hours after SF Gate homepage editor Gabe Lehman published his detailed review of her show at the Luther Burbank Center for the Arts in Santa Rosa, California.

“Unfortunately, the event organizer had to cancel their event,” Ticketmaster informed its customers on Wednesday.
‘You don’t need to do anything. We will refund the amount to the original payment method used at the time of purchase as soon as we receive the funds from the event organizer.
‘It should appear in your account within 14-21 days. Note: If the tickets were transferred to you, the refund will be made to the fan who originally purchased the tickets from Ticketmaster.’
Ellen’s next performance is scheduled for Monday at the Paramount Theatre in Denver, Colorado.
His comedy special is set to premiere later this year. It will be his second Netflix special, following 2018’s Relatable.
