Donald Trump has attacked Bill Maher and his late-night talk show guests in a series of scathing insults.
The former president, who accused Maher of suffering from “Trump derangement syndrome,” called the 68-year-old “bewildered, unkempt and tired.”
Trump also attacked Maher’s guests on his Friday night show: MSNBC host Stephanie Ruhle and New York Times columnist Bret Stephens.
In a post on her platform Truth Social, she called Ruhle a “fool” and said she was “as dumb as a rock,” while calling Stevens a “Trump-hating loser.”
Trump said Stephens should look for another job and suggested The Times was a “poorly run” outlet run by “degenerate editors.”
The former president accused Maher of suffering from “Trump derangement syndrome” and called the 68-year-old “messy, unkempt and tired.”

His latest speech at Truth Social came after Ruhle criticized him for his anti-immigrant rhetoric earlier this month on his own social media.
Maher and Stephens discussed Trump’s recent claim earlier this week that American Jews “would have a lot to do with” his potential election loss.
Maher said: “Whenever the autocrat starts blaming the Jews I think it’s a great sign because when has that ever gone so wrong?”
Stephens said the former president was “anti-Semitic,” adding: “Democracy is at risk every time anti-Semitism rears its head.”
Maher also told his audience Friday night not to laugh when he mentioned the second assassination attempt on Trump.

His attack on Maher and his guests comes just a week after the comedian criticized conservative Trump provocateur Laura Loomer, calling her a “bullshit whisperer.”
The comedian also predicted that Trump’s debate performance is a sign that “it’s over for him” in the election and said the two were in an “arranged relationship.”

Loomer, who describes himself as a “proud Islamophobe,” posted on X that if Vice President Kamala Harris were to win the election, “the White House will smell like curry.”
A rift among Trump supporters erupted over the racist post, with Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene criticizing Loomer for it.
Maher said on his HBO show “Real Time” that Loomer is “for the MAGA world, for people who find Marjorie Taylor Greene too intellectual.”
Trump has said Loomer has no role in his campaign and that he disagrees with some of her recent statements, but is grateful for her support.
Loomer later went after Maher and told him he should sue him for defamation, calling his comments “out of line.”
