Kimberly Guilfoyle delivered an impassioned speech for President Donald Trump at the Republican National Convention on Wednesday, beginning by recalling the attempted assassination of her future father-in-law on Saturday.
“Like you, I have spent much of my time in prayer these past few days and I know that God has placed an armor of protection over Donald Trump,” she said as the crowd cheered and applauded.
Guilfoyle is the fiancée of Donald Trump Jr., and was the first speaker after Trump entered the stadium to sit with members of his family in the executive box.
“President Trump handed Biden a booming economy and a strong nation. All Joe had to do was leave him alone and take a nap,” he said. “But Joe just couldn’t help himself.”
Guilfoyle raised her voice throughout her speech, nearly matching the impassioned delivery from her 2020 convention speech that raised eyebrows and earned ridicule from the left.

“We will not be bullied into obedience, we will not cower into silence, we will fight for America because we love America.”
It focused on popular issues such as freedom of speech and the protection of women’s sports from transgender competitors.
“We will restore an era of national pride where freedom of speech is respected and cancel culture is ended,” she said. “Where high school girls only compete with other girls, not biological men.”
Harris’ speech was warmly received by the crowd, who chanted “Trump, Trump, Trump!” and “USA!”

He concluded with a grand gesture, cheering and pointing to the crowd, shouting into the microphone.
“Are you going to support President Trump? Get up! Get up!” he shouted. “Ladies and gentlemen who love freedom and the American dream, we are here to make America great again!”
Guilfoyle’s speaking style has earned him criticism from the left, but his future father-in-law has expressed his liking for him.

In 2020, Trump reportedly praised her speech as one of the “greatest” he remembers and praised her for having “so much energy.”
However, late-night comedian Stephen Colbert, described She as a “vengeful banshee that will haunt your dreams.”
Guilfoyle and Trump Jr. celebrated their sixth anniversary together in April, and Trump Jr. honored her in an Instagram post to mark the occasion.
“Happy 6th anniversary, Kimberly Guilfoyle,” she wrote. “Thank you for always being there no matter what the haters tell us. I love you.”
