Paul Hogan has been spotted with his wayward son for the first time since he was hospitalized in the fall.
DailyMail.com spotted the Crocodile Dundee actor, 84, with his 24-year-old son Chance this month on a rare outing in Los Angeles.
Hogan told DailyMail.com that Chance is ‘doing much better’ after an emergency trip to the hospital last year after a disturbing video emerged of Chance covered in cuts and bruises.
But on a sunny afternoon in LA, Chance looked much better as father and son enjoyed some quality time together.

The Australian actor, who was seen wearing blue jeans and a leather jacket, returned to California in January after spending the holidays Down Under.
Chance, an aspiring musician, has a history of erratic behavior and was reportedly obsessed with the devil years ago before his parents teamed up to get him back on track.
This month, the rocker wore ripped jeans, a polo shirt and green sunglasses.
During his latest outing, Hogan lamented that he had had car trouble and explained how he has to drive his car 100 miles before it can be electronically registered with the California DMV.
However, he perked up when asked if Chance was feeling better, replying emphatically ‘Oh yeah’ before heading back to his Venice Beach rental where the pair live together.
In his disturbing Instagram posts from October, Chance revealed a large cut on his collarbone before panning the camera to reveal his friends in the car smoking.
He then moved it closer and smiled to reveal several other wounds on his forehead and bruises around his eye as well as two bandages that are normally attached to a pulse oximeter on his chest.
A pulse oximeter measures your blood oxygen levels and heart rate and is usually used in hospitals.
Chance’s long hair blew in the wind as he slowly bobbed his head to the music. He later revealed on Instagram that he had ‘broken’ his face and had been treated in hospital.

Hogan famously met Chance’s mother Linda Kozlowski while filming Crocodile Dundee in 1986, but raised him as a single father after his marriage broke up in 2013.
But his son has proven to be a headache for the veteran comedian.
In 2015, Chance was reportedly caught drinking beer and smoking what appeared to be a bong on the balcony of his father’s home.
In 2018, photos surfaced of Chance throwing up outside a Santa Monica venue where his band had just performed.
Chance was seen crouching and holding his head in his hands in photos that reportedly left his famous father ‘devastated’.
At the time, he was also forced to deny he was a devil worshiper after posting the satanic ‘devil number’ 666 on Instagram as well as another image of a drawing of an inverted Christian crucifix.

Speaking to Woman’s Day, Chance said: ‘It’s like I’m a satanic devil worshiper and my parents hate each other, none of that is true.’
He added: ‘It’s like, ‘Hey, you’re the satanic junkie, right?”
Describing Chance as American, Hogan told The Daily Telegraph: ‘The only family (Chance has) is me.’
All of Chance’s close relatives, including his grandparents, are dead, the Australian superstar said.
And while Chance loves visiting Australia, Hogan says his home is in the US.
“All his friends, his band, fellow musicians, girlfriends, everything — they’re all American,” he explained.
“He only has me, whereas my tribe at home, they all have each other.”
