Cranbrook explosion: Principal Nicholas Sampson resigns as principal of one of Australia’s most prestigious schools after ABC Four Corners show

The principal of one of Australia’s most prestigious schools, Cranbrook, has resigned five days after a television special about private school culture aired.

Nicholas Sampson resigned following an “irrevocable breakdown of trust” with the school board, ABC reported Friday morning.

Among the revelations broadcast this week is that a teacher was the victim of an attempted blackmail by a student, who demanded that she send him nude photos.
