An eastern Sydney dog trainer has been hit with a string of charges after allegedly stalking and then brutally attacking a man.

Courtnie Alexandria Donlan, 29, advertises online as a Bondi-based dog trainer, catering to the wealthy elite of the city’s plush eastern suburbs.

Her passion for dogs (and helping their owners) also extended to running her own pet supply business, Kylah Raw, which specializes in “delivering real nutrition” through “customized raw meals, dehydrated treats and supplements”.

Pet owners who have used her services describe her as an “amazing” and “professional” trainer, and share five-star testimonials about how she managed to help tame their mischievous dogs.

But the so-called dog whisperer is now locked behind bars after allegedly committing a series of scandalous crimes at a public housing block in Malabar last year.

Police will allege Donlan harassed or intimidated Aaron Holten, 38, at an apartment in Bilga Crescent between 10am and 12pm on June 11, 2023, before stabbing him in the arm.

Donlan was allegedly seen at the time brandishing a knife while walking through the apartment complex’s public parking lot.

Emergency services attended the scene and Holten was taken to Prince of Wales Hospital in a stable condition.

Footage taken at the scene at the time showed a barefoot Donlan smiling as she spoke to officers as they escorted her out of the apartment complex and into a police van.

The relationship between Donlan and Holten remains unclear, but Daily Mail Australia understands she was living in a unit within the complex at the time.

Donlan also ran a business selling dog food from 2018 to 2019.

Following her arrest, Donlan was taken to Maroubra Police Station and charged with wounding a person with intent to cause grievous bodily harm, reckless wounding, wielding a knife in a public place, using an offensive weapon and stalking/intimidating with intention to cause fear or physical harm.

She was granted bail and remained out of society until May 13 this year, when she was arrested after allegedly violating her conditions by failing to report to police and failing to comply with drug and alcohol restrictions.

Photos posted on social media, where Donlan has thousands of followers, show her posing with pets at dog shows and attending meetings with dog owners from the eastern suburbs.

“Courtnie was really great to work with,” begins a review of her dog trainer profile.

‘Explained everything professionally and confidently. She had great advice for everything we asked her about, including food recommendations, nuisance barking, and small dogs and children.

‘I would definitely recommend her. Thank you very much Courtnie!’

Donlan will take on Sydney Downing’s home center court on June 13.
