An unctuous documentary-style short film focusing on Vice President Kamala Harris is coming to theaters less than a month before the national election.
Titled KAMALA, the film directed by Samir Zakir and Gerard Pizarro, which is largely uncritical of the presidential candidate, will focus on bringing the “untold stories and personal sacrifices” of Harris’ life to fans.
The film, which will be released on October 25, will feature commentary and interviews from CNN’s Bakari Sellers and MSNBC’s Michelle Bernard, who have both been very supportive of the Democratic Party candidate.
Viewers will also be able to see Harris as a “main narrator” and watch an exclusive interview about her presidential campaign.

He added: ‘The purpose of this film is to tell her story through a unique lens: to humanize Kamala Harris by diving into her underdog story, told by underdog filmmakers.
“Her unique approach links her personal and professional journey with her commitment to improving the well-being of all. It’s a compelling and meaningful message!”
A short trailer for the film also features clips from the vice president’s childhood, her Indian and Jamaican roots and her interviews with celebrities including Drew Barrymore and Mindy Kaling.
Viewers can also expect to see Harris as a “main narrator” and see an exclusive interview about her presidential campaign.

The documentary will also feature rare interviews with Harris’ family and “some members of her inner circle of close friends.”
News of the short film comes days after the Golden Globe nominee was seen portraying Republican candidate Donald Trump in a new clip from the controversial biopic, The Apprentice.
Stan, 42, transformed into a younger version of the businessman and former president for a scene with Jeremy Strong as Trump’s disgraced (and eventually disbarred) attorney Roy Cohn.
The film follows Trump in the 1970s and 1980s as he attempts to establish his real estate empire by leveraging the holdings of his father, Fred Trump.

The Apprentice is directed by Iranian filmmaker Ali Abbasi, who shot the critically acclaimed Persian-language crime thriller Holy Spider (2022).

The Apprentice hits theaters on October 11, exactly two weeks before KAMALA.
