Christian Slater and his wife Brittany Lopez recently welcomed their second child together.
On Saturday, People It was confirmed that the couple’s son arrived last month.
While the post confirmed the gender of their little one, no other details were provided, such as the baby’s name, weight or exact birth date in July.
The exciting news comes just months after revealing that Brittany, 35, was pregnant when they attended the Los Angeles premiere of Slater’s film Unfrosted in April.
The longtime couple, who met on vacation in Little Palm Island, Florida, when she was 21 and he was 39, went public with their pregnancy as they walked the red carpet at the Egyptian Theatre.

Lopez showed off her baby bump as she turned to the side while standing next to Slater, 54, in a long floral dress at the private screening.
He and Lopez already share a four-year-old daughter, whose name has not been revealed publicly.
Slater welcomed her first two children, Eliana, 22, and Jaden, 25, during her marriage to journalist Ryan Haddon.
In 2019, after the birth of his youngest son, Slater told People He was enjoying watching his newborn baby “really acknowledge” him and smile at him.
“Before, it was just involuntary,” he enthused. “Now, she goes and smiles, and that’s a big accomplishment.”
At the time, she also joked about how “complicated” parenting has become since the ’90s.
“I thought your kid could get a few germs and be fine, boost their immune system. But now you have to wash everything,” she mused on The Late Late Show with James Corden.
He continued: “The bottles break down into eight different pieces and it’s a puzzle you have to put together.”

The exciting news comes just three months after revealing that Brittany was pregnant when they attended the Los Angeles premiere of her film Unfrosted (out April 2024).
The artist admitted that the newborn stage was simply “constant work” of constant cleaning and “late nights.”
He went on to boast that his wife “was happy to see” that he “possessed some skills” for having raised their two oldest children.
“I was able to contribute something and I know how to change diapers,” he explained. “She didn’t expect me to get as involved as I have.”
Slater and his wife were married in a secret ceremony at a Miami-area courthouse in December 2013.
The couple celebrated their engagement with a New Year’s Eve party in 2012, attended by hundreds of friends and family.

“It feels like we’ve just had a wedding,” she said at the time.
Even though the official wedding was private, Christian and Brittany planned a family event for their wedding later that year.
