Chennedy Carter criticized Caitlin Clark on social media after checking the Indiana Fever rookie’s body on Saturday in a now-viral moment.

In response to the video of her postgame press conference, with a caption (from another user) reading “Congratulations to all these women, you’ve really made the WNBA interesting,” Carter responded.
“(And) that’s all, besides three-point shooting, what (Clark) brings to the man,” he wrote.
Clark averages 16.9 points, 5.4 rebounds and 6.5 assists per game, although he also has 5.6 turnovers per game.

Carter also alluded to her beef with Clark on her own Instagram Story, writing: ‘I grew up with all the brothers. All we did was fight and argue. I love hate more than love that they don’t understand. I’d rather you hate me (than) love me and I mean it with my dead aunt.
Things got ugly between Clark and Carter on Saturday, when the latter appeared to yell “bitch” at the former Iowa star while throwing her to the ground.

After the play, which occurred late in the third quarter, Clark spoke to the ESPN broadcast at the end of the period.
“That’s not a basketball play, but I have to play it, that’s what basketball at this level is all about,” he said.
Clark and Carter faced off on Saturday when Fever defeated Sky in a close battle.
Carter also posted this on her Instagram Story, seeming to allude to her beef with Clark.

Meanwhile, Carter said after the game: “I’m not answering any questions from Caitlin Clark.” I don’t know what she said. I said nothing.’
The situation sparked the idea that the Fever need an ‘enforcer’ to protect Clark, as suggested by the Warriors’ Draymond Green.
