Charles Barkley has revealed that he lost $25 million in accumulator bets, with the basketball Hall of Famer feeling “depressed” at times over his massive losses.

Barkley, who earned more than $40 million in the NBA and has been an analyst on TNT’s ‘Inside the NBA’ since 2000, is known to have a strong affinity for gambling.

And talking about Shannon Sharpe ‘Club Shay Shay’ PodcastBarkley divulged how high some of his bets have been over the years.

“There have probably been seven times where I’ve won a million dollars,” he said.

“But there have probably been 25 times where I’ve lost a million.”

He continued: “I felt so elated [when I won], but when I lost a million, I became very depressed. For the money, but for the loss.

‘I’d be down for a week [thinking]’Damn, did I lose a million dollars?’

It was getting out of hand. No matter how good it feels for her to win, when you lose, she just sucks.”

Speaking to Sharpe, Barkley revealed that he stopped gambling for two years and explained that sometimes he didn’t dare leave the casino.

“We’ll be sitting there, I’ll get up and my friends would be like, ‘Chuck, let’s spend the night.'”

“And in my head I’m like, ‘No, we’re not leaving this son of a bitch until he makes a million dollars.’

Previously, Barkley he told Phil Mickelson during The Match in 2021 that he wanted to be “broke” when he died.

The former power forward is worth about $60 million today, according to Celebrity Net Worth.
